Who We Are

To start with, we are (audio, video, graphics) studios… on a pond.

Sure that’s the name of our place, and a great way to describe our environment, but that’s not all there is to us.

We believe that our welcoming surroundings are a reflection of our attitude.

We are a team of friendly, talented, creative people with great respect for our work and our clients.

Covid Safety

2020 was a heck of a year, and we are thankful to be able to continue working with you.

We implemented some standard safety protocols when we fully reopened in June that have been working well for us, and we were recently certified by MIOSHA through their Covid-19 Workplace Safety Ambassador Program.

We will be continuing these practices to keep everyone safe, which means clients will still monitor sessions remotely via Google Meet, Zoom, or similar virtual meeting platforms. At the studio, masks are required in any shared space, physical distancing is adhered to, we have a contact tracing log, are taking everyone’s temperature daily, and even use a HEPA/UV air purifier after every voiceover talent leaves the booth.

Here at The Pond we are all hopeful that vaccines will become more widely spread sooner rather than later. We are looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces in the facility and maybe even sharing lunch with us! Until then, we will continue taking the steps needed to keep everyone healthy as well as productive.

Audio

Our Audio Post suites feature ProTools HD digital audio workstations. Seamless audio workflow is the result of our integration of this superb post-production audio tool, from VO records to Mix To Picture. Our booths feature Neumann and AKG microphones. Multiple VO talent can be recorded simultaneously. Our suites utilize SourceConnect for recording sessions with remote studios, and out-of-state talent. Thousands of SFX and library music selections are available for your broadcast and non-broadcast productions. The Audio Engineers have experience recording and editing in many languages, including Castilian and Latin American Spanish, Dari, Dutch, European and Canadian French, German, Italian, Korean, Mandarin, and Russian.

Video Editorial & Motion Graphics

Our Video Editorial Suite has the flexibility to work in resolutions up to 8K, with strong workflow built on Premiere Pro editing and compositing. Final Cut Pro is also available for importing/converting/finishing out-of-house files and projects.

Graphics… Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet… just kidding. Design adds that extra sizzle that complements what we are creating. With the full Adobe Creative Suite in our toolkit, we can develop custom looking motion graphics for video projects of every size.

Video Production

High-quality production on a budget? Sure.
We look for creative ways to get great looking video, while keeping costs low. We'll shoot in HD with a single-camera or two-person crew, and a lightweight setup tailored to the needs of our clients. We've even done tracking shots by riding a one-wheel or hoverboard instead of dollying on tracks.
